We collect the information you provide when creating an account, including your email address and name. We also collect data about how you use the app, such as recording sessions created, settings preferences, and feature usage patterns. We do not collect biometric data, location data, or any content from your recordings beyond what you explicitly save to our servers.
Your information is used solely to provide and improve the Dual Shots service. This includes authenticating your account, syncing your saved recordings and preferences, and sending transactional emails such as account verification and password resets. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Videos and recordings you choose to save are stored securely on our servers using industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. You may delete your recordings at any time from the Library screen. Deleting your account permanently removes all associated data within 30 days.
We use minimal, privacy-respecting analytics to understand how the app is used in aggregate. No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels.
Dual Shots requires access to your device's camera and microphone to enable recording. This access is used only while you are actively recording within the app. We never access your camera or microphone in the background.
Dual Shots is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will promptly delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or an in-app notice. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, please contact us at support@dualshots.app.
